About Us

Social Actions connects people with actionable opportunities. By encouraging individuals to take action, our work is increasing the scope and impact of the citizen sector.

We are a non-profit virtual organization founded in September 2007, with consultants based in Quebec, Michigan and British Columbia. Our community members are based around the world. Since July 2008, Social Actions has had fiscal sponsorship from an arts services organization in New York City called Fractured Atlas.

The best place to learn more about Social Actions is to read through the archives of our Google group. Everything we do is incredibly transparent. When a big decision has to be made, it goes first to the Google group and then into smaller working group for resolution.
