It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to the Cancer Walk.My fiance', Marie, and myself will be walking with my sister Gina, who has been battling brain cancer for 6 years, on Sunday, June 22nd, in the North Shore Medical Center Cancer Walk. Every year, members of the community come together for a 10K walk around Salem to raise money to support the NSMC's cancer services and research for the ongoing fight against cancer. This year's proceeds go toward oncology services at the North Shore Medical Center. GE has a team walking, which we will be walking with. If you are interested in walking or donating, you can use this site to donate and link to the NSMC Cancer Walk page to register to walk. Or just let us know.We're trying to raise at least $1000 for cancer research. Please consider donating, cancer affects us all. If you decide to walk, all walkers get a FREE t-shirt! Also, we'll likely stop for lunch after the event at Salem Beer Works to cap off the day with some Pumpkin Ale!
