At present, vape retailers and manufacturers are unable by law to advertise their products. However, that’s all about to change. In 2018 the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) and the Broadcast Committee of Advertising Practice (BCAP) consulted with a number of organisations regarding e-cigarette advertising legislation. The organisations included public health charities, governing health organisations and tobacco industry leaders and gave them an opportunity to voice their opinions about a reform.
